About Myself:
I am happy to say my wife Wendy, son Drake, and I have moved back to Bakersfield after being in New Mexico for the last 8 years. We are fortunate to have our entire family in Bakersfield and will thoroughly enjoy returning to our home town. Growing up in Bakersfield I was extremely active in sports, and hope to get involved in college, high school, and community athletics again. I played baseball at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and feel I have an excellent understanding of athletic injuries. I currently enjoy road and mountain biking, camping/fishing, pick up basketball games and anything involving outdoors.
As for Podiatric Medicine; I treat my patients the way I like to be treated. We come up with a treatment plan to correct their foot or ankle problem that fits their lifestyle and time schedule. Every patient’s injury/deformity is different and we make a plan to fix it together. I also have been the patient at one time, and Dr. Zimmerman was my surgeon. Much of what I went through led me to where I am today.
