Dermatological Problems

Many skin disorders can affect the feet.  They range from fungal infections causing athletes foot to viral infections resulting in warts to more dangerous bacterial infections.  Surprisingly, the most life threatening skin cancer, malignant melanoma, often presents in the foot appearing as a dark mole-like lesion.  Obviously, early recognition and treatment are imperative.
